JAMES VACLAVIK
James Vaclavik is responsible for the overall contract management of commercial and government infrastructure contracts at Shay Brennan Constructions. He ensures all contract requirements are addressed and that all subcontractors and suppliers meet the specified requirements including installation, quality, commissioning and warranties.
James liaises and communicates with all trades to drive the program and ensure works are completed on site in accordance with the delivery program. James' daily activities involve evaluating procurement options, monitoring performance, implementing WHS/enviro/quality controls and measures, ensuring accountability for products and services required for contract delivery, and assisting with the management of inhouse resources.
Professional Experience
James has 8 years experience working in the construction industry previously holding a Graduate position with Richard Crookes Constructions. He has worked as an assistant surveyor as well as a general labourer at various commercial and domestic worksites in Queensland and in the New England North West region of NSW. James is a trained asbestos supervisor and has significant experience managing resources to safely remove and dispose of bonded asbestos from various buildings, ensuring controlled conditions.
